I would love for the voter who gave 1's to the following 7 entries in the Extended Free Study 2022-05 that just ended to come forward and explain his/her motivations behind the 1 votes for the following 7 entries. I think it might enlighten a lot of us.

These are the places the entries in question finished in: 11, 12, 18, 29, 35, 37, 38

Ps. I am presuming that it is the same voter who gave out these seven 1's

I doubt that the perpetrator will own up. But I know that site council probably would be able to tell because of people’s vote breakdown.

It’s quite common for this to happen, but a lot of the times it will occur on top 10 photos.

Why is it that people feel they have the right to question the reasoning behind voting?

It's offensive, presumptuous, and none of your damn business.

"Explaining" is not the same as "justifying" ... as a site ostensibly founded to "help people learn to be better photographers" the more we know about why people vote as they do the better -- ideally every voter would comment on every picture and we'd know what "worked" and what didn't.

It's comforting to know that a decade later the same conversation is still happening...

Ok. Couple more have been hidden. Consideration of just hiding the whole thread is being contemplated, in 3, 2, ...
