I sure as hell ain't sorry.

Maybe the terrorists that knocked down those buildings should be sorry.
Maybe the terrorists that behead people should be sorry.
Maybe Saddam Hussein who gassed his own people should be sorry.

And countless other reasons I won't waste my time with...

And no... by no means am I tying terrorism to Iraq....

But... what I am trying to say is... if we have to be sorry for voting... or not voting... or whatever.... my point is.... these apologies are just as needed.
I sure as hell ain't sorry for voting for Bush.

Oh I see and let's supose those terrorists are still a threat which I really doubt personally, Bush is the only guy on earth able to deal with them? Sure sept 11 whas a verry sad day for everyone, horrible, but I think americans are getting too hysterical. I live in a country that whas attacked a thousand times, and everyone in wurope does, USA whas only attacked twice on it's own land. I say that's a really good number. Be happy with it, and don't make your lifes a nightmare by living in constant fear and panic. It doesn't worth it. Besides I'm sure Kerry would of taken this issue as serious as Bush did, probably even better... but it doesn't matter now. I'm sure tho Bush here in europe wouldnt have made 10%.

I thought this was pretty interesting:
ROME, Italy (AP) -- The singer once known as Cat Stevens -- branded by the United States as a potential terrorist risk -- has been awarded a peace prize in Rome for his humanitarian work.

I think that site is great. Not because of of it's message, but because when I look at the pictures of the people submitting to it, (pimple faced kids) I finally understand who voted for Kerry.

Hasn't the US done awful things to its citizens, I am thinking of experiments with nerve gas on ITS OWN soldiers, and other chemical agents it has exposed them to?
Haven't we americans executed innocent men on death row?
Shouldn't we be at least sorry for the innocent children who have been killed by our planes? nad bombs in iraq? What are all those women and children guilty of? Are they any more guilty than those in the trade centers?
When will we realize '"an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" (ghandi)
Vince, I just want to say to you as affectionately as one can on line, it is that kind of "we are right and they are wrong" attitude is why most of the world hates america. That kind of arrogance that is at the root of hatred. I am sure that is not what you desire? Is it? just curious, what good do you see coming from bush's strategy?

"Kids" always have the balls to make the change when it stinks. My country whas eliberated by "kids" from communists while "adulds" where hiding under the bed shaking... most of those thousands who died fighting it were students. During 50 years of communism students tried and hundreeds of thousands died trying. That's a thing I can only admire about "kids" and I can only be disgusted by adults's ability to fear. You really fear terrorism don't you? that's all there is to this... nothing else counts.

I think its a cool site, and I dont agree with the politics.

But it always turns into a fight. Your bad because of your politics....well your worse because of yours.

Geez, give it a break already.

Yes, very well said. Totally agree with that. Innocent soldiers and people abroad are dying for false reasons. Terrorism is true but you won't get rid of it by getting down a country who has nothing to do with it... I think it raises hanger even more.

Peace

I don't fear terrorism. I work in a maximum security prison, surrounded by "terrorists"

My only point is that I know more as an adult then I did in my youth. This is not to say that some of those kids aren't smarter then me, just that I am smarter then I was.

I respect anyone who voices their opinion logically, and do not expect everyone to agree with me. That's what makes this country great. You can scream what you believe at the top of your lungs. However, you must accept the fact that the people who believe the opposite can scream too.

Kids do not need to "liberate" this country. There are civil way to bring about change. Posting pictures of profane slogans is not socialy responsible or effective.

50.0001% is a majority. Now that the election is over, reguardless of who you voted for, your President is Bush. Show some respect, and bring about change in a civilized responsible manner.

I think it's a cool world, and I don't agree with the politics either. We could be better off for our politics, and, great, if you'd be better off for it too.

We should, and I share your desire for 'civilised' discourse and action. Free speech, however, is not an intrinsically American virtue. From a somewhat removed perspective, the greatness of America is very much in question, particularly an exclusive one.

From my perspective what was once great about America now appears to be more celebrated and respected in Copenhagen, Berlin and Wawa, Ontario. As a Canadian, this concerns me a little.

My world is cool too, and I'm glad yours is too, but in many parts of the world the world is not so cool. When bombs fall in your garden, and when your kids step on landmines in theyr backyards, the woirld is not so cool, belive me. I choose to care about that I don't care about any other kind of politics eyther, but when they kill children for oil, I choose to atleast scream out loud about it, because that's the only thing i can really do.

Edit: If I could I would be happy to give a bit from my cool world so those children can see better days.

That's funny you know, made me think about Michael Moores theoryes that terrorism is not really a threat but is something Bush uses to his advantage... Funny how Ossama's last video came out a few days before the ellection. Tha's also why I called him "muppets show leader".
