Hey!! I was able to post directly to instagram from my desktop computer without having to pretend it was my phone!!

You can have some of mine. I've got 27 followers and I've never posted anything there. The only reason I ever joined Instagram was because I came across some photographers I wanted to follow, but I hardly ever look at the site. Maybe now that one can post from the computer I'll try posting there.

OO just looked at it and I have 146 followers LOL

I posted some photos, but mostly used it for liking my sister in laws new farm flower business in England and my brothers classic car interior company. I got all excited yesterday and went to post something then got distracted by a cat video lol

i tried some time ago but there wasnt an option ..
and i gave it my best shot .. googled and everything . !! ..

i had to google cheugy .. !! .. lol .. ;)

anyway .. i've just uploaded from the computer my georgia photo that was in the recent ext fs ..
it seems you can only upload a square dimension from the computer ... different uploading from the phone ..

Nope, you can change it from a square! I'm still sleeping so I'll tell you how to later

I've had that option for about 6 months or more (they rolled it out to business accounts first) but don't find it too useful . Even though in theory you can load an original size image the web app crops it when loading Portrait orientation images. The other crops sizes they offer are 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9.

I've had some weird looking images in my feed when I've loaded from the computer (they look fine on the computer) and real challenges with uploading more than one image. I don't post much to IG anyway these days so it's not really a problem.
