What type and size of screen are people using to review the images and cast their votes? Do we know from site statistics? Are a lot of people voting from phone screens ? Of Ipads?

What do you use?

Usually vote from a laptop, but sometimes from my phone if I'm stuck somewhere with nothing else to do and I'm behind on voting.

I tend to use my desktop (27").

I've been using a laptop since my desktop computer died while we were in (self-imposed) hard lockdown. Just when I was planning to get it upgraded or replaced, our second wave started so it never got done. I'll have to do it eventually though because the laptop screen is too small for editing photos and I'm not even happy with the size for voting. Maybe when the third wave is over!

I'm not prepared to vote from my phone because I can't judge photos that way.

I'm using a 34" LG Ultra Fine at 5120 x 2880 resolution.
The images here are postage stamps when I vote.

I am using a calibrated 28” 4500*3000 pixel display myself but view the image at 200%. I usually take a second look using an IPad.

It's not an issue for voting but when I want to see other DPC photos on my laptop, they don't fit on the screen.

Normally I am voting on an OLED 4k laptop screen. I do occasionally vote from a machine with 1080P LCD monitors, but rarely. I don't access the site from a tablet, and can't imaging doing so from a 'phone, at least not without getting pretty frustrated.

I vote from a 27" screen, I like the bigger size, sit down with a nice cuppa and go through the images,

i only vote from my computer .. i have my macbook pro 16" connected to the 24" monitor .. its a really old samsung monitor and needs replacing as the colours on it are vastly different to what i see on the macbook .. which are different to my phone .. its an exercise in confusion trying to decide what colours to go with in an edit because of the differences .. mainly red .. great i love black and white .. ;)
i was a windows user up till we had major fires here and i had to pack up my tower .. i never went back .. fact that it was windows 7 was a major reason ..
anyway .. if anyone can recommend a good monitor .. available in australia .. i'd love to know .. i recently went to our local JB HiFi .. not sure if you have them in the states .. but came away not knowing what would be good for my purposes .. :)

I've got the same problem with an ancient Philips monitor, plus the fact that mine is smaller than yours and low resolution, a problem I was unaware of until I started using it with my Windows laptop. I'm pretty sure that the colours and contrast on my laptop are right but my efforts to synchronize the monitor to the laptop have been a big fail. It's totally useless for photo editing or voting but is useable for things like the menus in Photoshop and for sites where images are unimportant.

When Covid numbers drop I've got an expensive shopping trip ahead of me - new monitor and either repair or replacement of my desktop.

There are so many good monitors on the market. I think the main thing to check is the color space(s) coverage and the calibration profiles. Stay away from anything that does not even mention color space (=most)

Usually my laptop. (LG Gram)

Using 3 screens. Is size important? I know the resolution, but I've no clue about the size (big, less big and not so big, in descending age order)

So true, but good monitors are far more expensive than good computers, so you need to have a budget...

I do nearly all my DPC interaction on a high-end, 15" laptop screen 3420x2128 (or something like that. I sometimes use the tower and the 27" screen to process etc, but less and less as time goes by. I sometimes do oversight on my tablet, which is very sharp and clean, but only vote with it if I'm away from the laptop and rollover looms...

Voting from MacBook Pro 16, iMac 27" 5K.

A lot of shooting, editing and submitting from my Samsung Note 9 with checks on the above mentioned ones.
