This isn't an outtake proper, but rather a subspecies. It's an unborn entry, having just missed the midnight rollover by some ten minutes of necessary processing. And why was that? Manana, manana... Evening rolls around and we flip on the tv, an hour and a half mystery program to savor. But what's this? A cast of thousands, wherein the main characters mingle with victims, suspects, witnesses, passersby, the entombed and the occasional aardvark, a dizzying riot of faces surely meant to loose the viewer from all semblance of continuity. Of course time shifts hither and thither without noticeable transitions. You know beforehand that something dire is about to happen because the background music swells like a tempest. Red herrings are fine, even fun, but there's got to come a Friday. So, after sloshing through the morass for an hour and twenty-eight minutes, the resolution entails a surprise twin. What! Unfathomably, it didn't seem to bother my wife much. Would she gaze on placidly as Rome burned? Presumably. I went ballistic. Well, mighty peevish. We'll watch the next episode tonight.
At about ten thirty I sit down to work on the photo. Chores arise here and there. Obviously unnecessary, but she's a stickler for shifting piles of debris and other piddling matters. A snack or two. A break or two from the pressure. Suddenly it's ten to midnight and I feel like a fire engine racing to an inferno, making mistake upon mistake, sideswiping parked cars and heedless lamp posts. What heart I have left sinks at midnight, and I'm still mourning. Not really, but the dramatic impulse can sneak up upon one...
Aspects of the image may annoy those expecting technical proficiency, or mere competence. So be it. I don't pretend to be competent. My technique is smash and run. At any rate, I'm putting this forward in hopes that some might find it amusing.

That's hilarious.

All of it.

Except the part where you missed the deadline.

That part stinks.
