Hi guys. I have a different video I want to show you. Trying to make different stuff on my YouTube channel, I decided to go with a new format which is about stories which are told to me - and to people watching, of course. I asked two great photographers to speak about their relationship with Etna, the highest European volcano, which is in Sicily and keeps being very active during the last 30 years. I really wanted to show you this documentary and that's why I added subtitles to it. I hope you can enjoy this collection of thoughts and of breathtaking images.

Tell me a story - Etna

It was certainly worth watching this. What a beautiful environment! Btw. Thanks for the subtitles.

Thanks, Alex, for making and presenting this fascinating and beautiful film. The photographers you interviewed gave depth to your subject, especially in relating their own feelings about living in the very neighborhood of Etna. The photos and video in combination with the interviews, and your own narrative, all together build a very satisfying depth and fullness. Actually hearing the sound of Etna's eruption was a highlight for me. Best wishes for you in continuing this new approach of yours.

Spectacular video. I saw this post yesterday while on my phone, and I watched the video. I had to return today so I could rewatch it on a larger screen. Thanks for posting.

Watched this this AM. Incredible imagery. Being close-up to an eruption must be an awesome experience. On my bucket list.

Excellent and very informative Alex. My mum had a view from her bedroom window of Mount Etna growing up in Messina. She always had this fear that it would erupt and swallow the whole city.

I may have exaggerated a bit there ;)

Thanks everyone! You are my second family and I always love to share with you some of the videos of the YouTube channel because I know you can be interested in some of them. I'm starting to think about an English version of the videos, but it would take a lot of time and effort, so I'm not sure yet.
