Upload help - DPChallenge Forums

Good evening all,

OK I've done this a thousand times. I have an entry - Changed the image size to be 1200 on the largest side. Save as - .jpg - Never had a problem before. Today - the only way it lets me save is a quality of 1 - which of cause looks like garbage. I know its something obvious. I've cleaned my glasses. I'm still missing it. Any suggestions?

Photoshop CS5 - I was able to use Save for Web to get it to upload, but it just seems strange that it happed all of a sudden.

Thanks - just out of curiosity I put the image on a zip drive and I'm taking it into work tomorrow. I have PS and I'm going to see if it works there. It's making me a little crazy. I've been putting off CC but the time might have just arrived. Thanks for your help.

You might check and make sure it's in the right color space (e.g. 8-bit, not 16-bit) ...

You might be the only other person here with a Zip drive!

Yea - I tend to go old school! And that was the first thing I checked. 8 bit.

Try saving it first in another format (e.g. TIFF) and then save that as JPEG -- sometimes that will fix file corruption or other error.
