I liked your entry although I would have liked to see more of the surroundings to add some more interest and maybe a focal point to it. Your tractor shot still looks a bit too clean to me, does not have the real dirt feeling to it, and in that shot the lensbaby effect makes me dizzy.

Hi Roz ... I commented on both. FWIW, I'm glad to see the Lensbaby getting some exercise. May need to dust mine off! :-)

thankyou Willem and Barry ..
often when i take a photo for a challenge its like i cant see the forest for the trees ...
so what i feel fits the challenge might be incomprehensible to someone else .. like the rust pic ..
i was there .. and knew what was going on .. the ppl voting were not ..
so it would be to my advantage when entering photos in challenges to step out of my own head .!!.
with that in mind i've found that leaving an image for a period of time gives me a bit of distance .. so i can possibly see it with less 'attachment' ..
thankyou again ..
feedback is always welcome ..:)

and Barry ..
i absolutely love the lensbaby effect .. possibly because i'm a huge fan of shallow dof ..
but lensbaby lenses take that to a whole other level ..
i love that you can have an area that is distinct and the rest implied ..
also some of the lenbaby lenses can distort the bokeh .. which is another great look ..
not for everyone .. but who knows .. when you dust yours off we might get the ppl who arent big fans to walk on the wild side .. ;)
