As someone has surely noticed, my Free Study winning entry is a sort of remake of my old Dawn of the Dead which was my first Blue Ribbon ever, 9 years ago. Since I thought that it was my best image so far, I decided to set up a funny photo shoot in the same place to "improve" that one. My goal was not improving, of course, but you can watch the full story here

Wow!! Great video and a homage to DPC. Thanks for sharing and the subtitles :)

Since I subscribed your channel I already knew about your planning, organizing and making this shot and I'm really impressed by your dedication and your skills as a photographer.
But I also have a rather profane question which is in my head since I watched your video: How warm/cold was the water of the ocean???
If I lived closer to your place I would have offered my participation for sure.

Thanks Henk! When I decided to add subtitles to all my videos was first for my DPC friends :)

Thanks Barbara! Honestly for water was warm that morning. But all the people were lucky because for 4-5 days before, after a couple of rain shower the temperature was rather cold (cold for a southern Europe region like mine). That day was surely warm. And in Covid times no one wanted to experience hospital for sure.

Next time Barbara! We live far from each other, but not too much :)

Instead of looking it up, which is too easy, I'm going to access my nostalgic brain because that is much more pleasing, and remember my time in Firenze, Roma, Venezia, Amalfi, Montpulciano, Siena, Pienza, Pisa, etc.... this lovely but unreliable engine tells me the term is "molti grazie"

My friends, I have to say that your words make me feel so happy and proud of this community. I've found many friends here, some of them I met in person even if we live so far away from each other, I've learned so many things about photography and creativity. If I planned this shot is because DPC is a very important part of my life, even if I enter less challenges than before. I'm happy for winning the Free Study, but it's absolutely not as important as having shared it with you all.

ETA: As for the versions of "grazie" mariuca did a super job :)
