McDonald's work reminds me of some Pete Turner work (I enjoyed much of his work and studied his style when I first got into film photography years ago). I need to revisit some of that work ...

I understand about the HREF but for some reason it wasn't working on that address. I'll try again tomorrow. I do use href code with some frequency when scheduling, but it always has linked to something OUTSIDE the DPC site...

I was looking at the source for the "Challenges" page and didn't see the code around the link text, but I may well have mis-read the code -- it's been a long time.

There IS no href code around it at this time because the code was just disappearing what it contained and leaving nothing. So I posted the bald url until I can figure out where it went wrong.

I hope this gets sorted. I quite enjoyed shooting for it before and am happy to see it again.

Link "works" . . . but for me there's very little to see. The same few images no matter what I click. Has anyone found a "collection" or "gallery" to browse?

If you click on the "New Happiness" link then there's a "next" arrow under the image and I have seen at least half a dozen that way. Certainly enough to get the flavor :-)

Thanks. Someone sent me a bunch of thumbnails and, as you said, that's enough for a good idea.

Yep. When I looked yesterday I was able to browse a couple of galleries and the entire Happiness one using the 'arrows'.

There are about forty of them on that "New Happiness" link, Nikki.

Click on the "thumbs" link or just click "Next" over to each of them. It's slower than normal on my computer. Probably because they're archived?

Oh, I hadn't checked dpc for a couple of weeks, so I didn't see this until now. Gus was my school friend, and I've actually been thinking of him a lot recently, along with a couple of other school friends who passed on in the 2010s(including my best friend). Gus's brother is a near neighbour of my brother in Darwin, but I don't know if they associate with each other.
It's nice to have this challenge again. Thanks.

Here's a link to his fiancee's memoir about their relationship.
