Scary, in just 7 years he almost completely disappeared from the Internet. Here is a link to the trust his wife is running in his name:
https://www.angusmcdonaldtrust.org/new-page-1

I guess we will have to use the entries from the previous challenge to come up with an idea of his style.

How odd that this guy seems to have disappeared off the face of the internet. There's and Angus Macdonald Photography site which has this tidbit in the "About" section:

I am a Northern photographer with over 14 years experience in the industry. My passion for imagery is innate and hails from a childhood spent marvellling at my Father’s creations in his Newcastle based photography studio.

Just like my dear Dad, I’ve honed the skills to turn my hand to a broad spectrum of photographic work, from still life and food to fashion and advertising, some of which have earnt industry recognised awards along the way. Exploration and collaboration is what makes my heart beat and I’m always eager to learn and be challenged with new creative briefs.

True to my roots - I am grounded and honest, this combined with my restless perfectionism and ability to capture subjects in their best light, leads to high quality output that both myself and clients are proud to put their name to.

This is not the one.

hmmm...

We have an "in the style of" a person we can't find, so we're to use the last challenge's entries to figure out his style?

Is it too late to change this challenge topic, Bear?

08/26/2020 02:41:28 PM · #14
that's what I'm going to do so...

I have renamed the challenge and altered the description. I have included the URL of the previous New Happiness challenge but for some reason am unable to make it clickable. If I can figure that out I'll fix the link. Meanwhile, you can copy/paste...

Here's the original thread form 2013: https://www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=1210363

He was a school friend of pug-h, and passed away seven years ago. That's probably why his website is gone.

Is this still an "in the style of" challenge? I'm confused.

I suppose "Take inspiration from ..." means sort-of the same thing -- I suggest try to enter something you think would have made the first page of the previous challenge ...
