Picked up a Rokinon 24/1.4 and I think I'm going to like the way it works with the Sony A7II. :-)

ISO 800, F1.4

Oh lucky you :-). I have been looking at those Rockino pics with admiration on the web. So tempted to look for one, but then I look at my other stuff I hardly use (Lensbaby) and think I should just stick to admiring the pics :-)
Have fun with it. Can't wait to see your images in the challenges.

I think you will have a lot of fun with that one Barry... I have the 14/2.4 and it is quite amazing.

Actually, I would have to give the Star Whisperer title to Shannon ( scalvert), he definitely is more experienced in that regard. On the other hand, I did earn the honorary title of "Lizard Whisperer" on a 2005 GTG. We found this little guy:

along a trail and after photographing him I was able to actually reach out and scratch his chin!

LOL. Yes, I agree with your assessment of Shannon as the Star Whisperer (a quick visit to his profile page and last 10 entries is quite convincing!).

Also Konrad ( darnok) has some nice stuff too. This taken with the Samyang 24/1.4 (sibling of the Rokinon 24/1.4) ==>

I would have mentioned this earlier, but I'm just getting started on this and if anyone looked at my Extended FS entry after seeing the above they would have quickly realized how crappy my photo is (although I liked it because it's my first one getting something like this - MUCH to learn yet!). :-)
