I'm the same actually, I prefer these type of shot to be as clean as possible without looking plastic.

I think that the important thing to learn is that tastes vary and you can (almost) never please everyone, so go with what you like and try to not worry about "them" ...

I learned a long time ago that you can never please anyone - well I can't anyway. That's why I've never won a ribbon. Well not unless you count brown ribbons anyway.
