A clarification of the rules please. To create better symmetry is it allowed to copy elements from one side of the face to the other. For example duplicating an ear? |

In standard editing this is 100% sure a NO.

OK. How about the transform warp, liquify, and smudge tools?

Those are OK, although there's some sentiment that if you go too far with warp and liquefy you're headed out-of-bounds. It's a grey area, sadly. Don't go crazy and you'll be fine. That's MY opinion, BTW :-) (I have learned my lesson) (maybe) :-)

Unfortunately those YouTube videos on DIY plastic surgery are over-rated ... |

True, but there’s no scarring. |

When presenting the "before" we can crop/rotate it, right? So that will have the side by side of the exact crop. Thanks |

Yeah, you can do that. Any implication that you do otherwise is just in the description, and it's not a rule that has to be followed. Speaking for myself, as a voter not an Admin, I'd rather see the original exactly as shot, so I can see how the shooter cropped, rotated whatever, but that's just me.

I see your point, thanks Bear!
I don't consider cropping an editing skill :) |
