I went through in 2013 on a standard tour and the lovely guide 'cleared the frame and threw the sand' then. I enjoyed it & got some keepers but definitely filed under tourist snapshot.

I feel very lucky that I got to see this both with and without an experienced photography tour guide . It was crowded on both trips. But times are a changin.

I don't think luck had anything to do with it! ha! ;)

You bought a ticket, right? ;)

I would like to see it, but I don't think I'd even take my RC (Real Camera) with me. I'd just take my cell phone and enjoy the moment.

No point in trying for anything else, I fear.

I do enjoy seeing others' photographs of the scene.
