Yes -- we've done toys before. But lets take it to the next level. Be inspired by this guy:

At least I hope it is. |

What?
Where the hell will I find toys?!
...
Just kidding. ;-) I think 90% of my entries would qualify for this lately. |

It definitely would have to be Extended Editing. Looks like a fun challenge. How can we TITLE it to steer people in the right direction? "Dioramas with Toys"? LOL

Maybe we should limit it to non-exploding items ... ;-) |

I was thinking regular editing, actually. It looked like he did most of his shots by hand, not composites. |

Expert editing would make it doable. Otherwise one would have to make elaborate sets or restrict one's vision to easier scenes.
(How would the reflected horse be achieved without expert editing?) |

Yeah, you're right. It's apparently ALL in the setup and execution. Still, wouldn't that be a reach for most of us?

Definitely a reach for me! In Australia I would have access to a lot of toys (my niece has a two years old) but here I have no toys at all. |

Looking at it closer, I don't see it being done without edits.
The water ripples are not physically consistent. The lighting is off as well. The surface tension of the water around the hooves would distort the reflection, especially the rear right hoof, where the puddle appears to have no edge with relation to the water.
