Some folks stuff remains while others are left with no trace. Do tell please how this difference occurs.

I believe you can request that your profile is totally removed with the exception of challenge entries for obvious reasons, however your profile will be gone if you so request it.. Mine will remain for as long as the site is active.

MAK is correct. When a request to delete an account is made, everything is deleted but challenge entries. They cannot be deleted.

I totally misread the original post. I thought it had to do with what you do with corpses.

I actually hesitated to come in because I thought the same thing and wasn't really up to that kind of discussion :)

Everybody who has not canceled their account is searchable and findable :-) The profiles of those who are paid-up members show ALL their stored images as well as their challenge images. When a paid member reverts to a "white shirt" (registered member) the portfolio disappears but the challenge images remain. However, the portfolio remains in our archives, so if a white shirt decides to re-up to paid status all that portfolio stull will again become visible :-)

Misunderstandings can be life-changing! I got fired from my job for asking a customer if they wanted “smoking” or “non-smoking”. Apparently, the correct terms are “cremation” or “burial”. ;-)
