So I asked this awhile ago, but no one seemed to have the answer. I was photographing around 100 Boy Scouts. I did the portraits, but wanted to do the same editing in color efex on all of them (love the darken lighten center and some other options for portraits).

You can't create an action in photoshop, because once it starts color efex, it stops the action.

You can do it through Lightroom!!

I just selected 5 photos, right clicked and selected Edit in Color Efex. It prepared the 5 files, opened color efex, waited for me to pick the options I wanted. Then when I had finished, there was a Save All button, and it applied those edits to all the files I had selected.

This is a HUGE time saver!!!

You can also create you own recipes in Color Efex Pro to reuse over and over.

Yup -- I've done that, but it was painful to apply them to 100 photos in photoshop. Through lightroom, I can do them in batches. It's so sweet!

If there was a Like button, I'd push it.
