We have it here, the new poor can also be employed some with degrees.it hits the poorest and the disenfranshised

Dorothea langes photo of a Migrant worker during the great depression still haunts.

The Sallie Army and other charities are running on empty.

People living in cars and on the street..

That sounds depressing... even if you have a "wealth" of poverty shot opportunities.

Can we have a cheerful topic to encourage others?

Hey Lydia, I tend to agree with you but I'll bet there are others who are ready and willing to go homeless-hunting. Not me. ;-)

It would take great compassion to do justice to poverty.

I’m all for promoting knowledge of poverty and homelessness. But I do not think this will work as a challenge topic.

I made a resolution some time ago that I will not take photos nor film human misery (or animal). I did not film when I saw an accident, I do not take photos of homeless. It is a personal choice, I would not support nor participate in this challenge.
