Had to download/restore Windows Photo Viewer for the umpteenth time. I prefer this viewer to the one that came w/Windows 10 but updates tend to eliminate it which is maddening. Anyone else have this problem? |

I don't have that problem with Photo Viewer, but I do have another old Windows component that I still like, and I do have the same problem. I keep the installation file in an easily accessible spot, and just run it when I have to, usually a couple times a year. |

If you want to get away from Windows (Viewer) altogether you might try IrfanView -- I like it for previewing and for many batch-editing functions. However Windows updates will sometimes take away its designation as your default viewer, requiring changing settings but not re-installing ... :-( |

Yes, good point. I'm keeping the Restore Windows Photo Viewer shortcut on my desktop just in case. |
