| Well.. there are filters you can use to soften the blow. I assume these are acceptable in minimal. |

If you mean a piece of glass (or other material) in front of your lens, then sure those are legal.
If you mean software which "filters" the already-captured pixels, then sharpening is the only one allowed, and is not likely to "soften" anything. |
