I felt the "You Name It" challenge went over very well. How about if we take it a step farther. I propose a challenge where each person who submits an entry also writes an in depth critique (a paragraph or 2) of at least one other submission in the challenge. The submission that is critiqued would be the first picture that comes up when the viewer votes. I think this is random and everyone gets a different first picture when we vote. That would guarantee that everyone who submitted a picture would get at least one valuable critique. Of course it would be open to anyone critiquing as many pictures as they would like. I think this would be a great learning experience for the one who writes the critique and the one receiving the critique as well.

I think it is highly likely but not a guarantee.

However, be warned, mandatory commenting has never gone over well ... though this would probably work as a suggested modus operandi ...

For that matter, you could just suggest that everyone try this (comment on at least the first photo on your list) for the next monthly Free Study -- you have (almost) a month to debate the idea ... :-)
