I thought it might be a nice thing to put this thread in place for posterity.....discussion first, obviously, as there is some interest in a possible challenge. I know I'd love to post about a dozen I shot when Vivi and I went to Paris Xmas 2013.
And obviously, SC, if there ends up being a challenge specifically featuring the Cathedral at Notre Dame, this can wait.
Thoughts?

There are so many POVs of this magnificent structure that fascinated me. I do believe that I first became interested in the Middle Ages/Renaissance when learning what a flying buttress was in class. They used the cathedral as an example.
I was surprised at how cluttered and busy parts of it were/are.....
Loved it at night as well.....

I could not stop taking pictures even when I lived there and have more than a dozen books on the subject
"Les mysteres des catedrales" - Notre Dame, one of the 80 cathedrals built in France from the mid XII c. in 200 years.
Impossible to put a figure on a human being or on what humanity achieves
