I’m sure you’ll thing that I’m a RAVing lunatic, but I rarely get off the ship anymore. I’ve been to the places so many times, and it’s so hot! And it’s wonderful on the ship when everyone else is gone.

:).

I don’t think I’ve been to Sarasota. But we used to live in FL.

Nothing meant by Sarasota other than the letters fit. I also lived in Florida.. SE coast. I think when you actually live there it's totally different from vacationing there. I missed the seasonal changes and variety of terrain here in PA, esp. hills/mountains. If I had the CASh, I'd spend 2 to 3 months in Florida and the rest up here.

Ok.. ok. You shamed me. (Or... I shamed myself?).

I got off the ship today and floated in the ocean.

I’m sunburned now. Had a great time.

Are you folks happy?

I think it's a shame if taunting by DPCers was the REAson you got a sunburn. I know sunscreens are often gREAsy and unpleasant but if you burn easily you should REAlly use (a lot of) it according to the skin docs ...

Hey Lydia, I'm glad you got off the ship today and enjoyed floating in the ocean! Put some aloe on the sunburn and it will feel better. Try not to become too ENGrossed in the ship, get out and enjoy the surroundings. Are you in Belize yet?

lol!!!

What a lovely homAGE to my skin. Ha!!

I’m all good now.

I only get pink for a day, then tan.

I’m off the ship in the morning.

It’s been a fantastic two weeks, but I’m ready to go home now.

:)

Welcome back to dry land. Why don't you take a sPIN on a three wheeler? (very popular around here)

Thanks for the letters, Jo.

I went to the site and my mouth was agAPE. That does look fun. The only three wheelers I've ever driven had the single wheel in the front. Cool!

Yes! We saw one at the lake over the weekend, a woman owned it. It was a Polaris, the most popular one. I think they run abOUT $20K new so they're not cheap. We're going to find a local dealer and maybe go for a test drive.

That sounds like a much FUNner way to spend $20K than others ideas I've seen.

These vehicles don't have doors and are manual transmission which makes them even more fun. If it SOUnds like something you might like take one for a test drive.

TRYing that would be fun... but I don't think I'd love it enough to buy one. Maybe they rent them?

REN

Maybe you could RENt or lease one. They're a good warm weather vehicle so buying one might not be feasible unless you live in Florida.

THAT's a good question.. I know the Gen is into playing music and you're into cruises. I used to be an urban explorer but our MLS photography business keeps me busy.

I used to work in a print shop and so I do a little freelance graphic design work (for which I don't cHARge enough), I have some stock photos and prints for sale, and my real "day job" currently is in a local drug-treatment program.

My other online "activity" is writing for the OEDILF; I have the same username there if you want to check it out ...

HerALD! Our Gen is a linguist!!

Here is one of my favorite of his works:

"When those CME credits are due,
And you still need to gain quite a few,
It might take an all-nighter
To make things seem brighter
And all of those credits accrue.

(Physicians and other medical professionals are required (typically every 1-2 years) to spend a certain number of hours in continuing medical education activities in order to maintain their license.)"

Had a real estate shoot today, an older model single mobile home in need of an overhaul. Typical AmerICAn lower-middle class style living with junk all over the place. A real challenge but we made it look as good as we could.

Yuk. I'm sure you did a great job. Perhaps they could tidy up a bit before photos?

Was there a bARKing dog? We have those here. (and the junk)

No dogs at our house . . . but plenty of gHOSts. They say it's haunted, but you couldn't prove it by me.

Re: Mobile home.. the owner did tidy the place up but it really needs a lot of work. Old wood paneling, dark ceilings. However, our client is very pleased with the photos so hopefully he'll sell it to someone who is ready to start remodeling. It would be a good investment property for someone who wants to double their money.. good location.

Can't come up with a word for LRT.. is there such a word??
