I understand one is TTL and another one not and TTL helps do to outside photography but in my case mostly indoor and events related stuff. What would you recommend?

What kind of event photography? Both of those are fairly bulky, so not really built to be easily move around (like any studio size monolight). Not an issue if you are setting up a station at an event though.

Don't forget though, TTL also means HSS and second curtain sync. You don't usually (ever?) get those features in a manual only unit.

I know nothing about these. Are they just strobes? If so, I really like my Einstein from Paul C Buff

Just sold my 600. Fantastic unit but just too powerful for my small space and too big for outside with my kind of usage. For me I will just use multiple ad200s the few times I need larger output.

That's the nice thing about the einstein -- it can be used outside, yet can go low enough inside (vs my alienbees which can't go as low). Low is extremely important for inside.

They're 600/400 W/S battery powered monolights from Godox.

Thank you guys! so I step back and thought about what MichaelC said and I ordered AD200 with transmitter. total came out to $328.00 and I do see people have used this for outdoor as you can see in this youtube video and this guy has explained very well.

FromDaRock I do wedding, birthdays, sweet sixteen. 80% of photographs in indoor and I need something for my backdrop photo booth that is handy as well as battery powered to make sure no wire running around. I do outdoor photoshoot for wedding and sweet sixteen but those are less compare to what indoor coverage is.

vawendy At one point I did think about it but the only thing that prevented me to buy was wire, yes I can get external battery power bank and use that but that those adds extra money on top. As of today most of my events an average photographs for photo booth is about 200 and entire event is about 1000 and for the rest of the events I am using speed lights and those are working well for me.

Good choice. I love mine and typically use it with a beauty dish for outside shot's. It has served me well with a great battery life.
