So I googled this as I've never heard this expression before, and well, any clues??? Is it a challenge to show the season changes??

I associate the title with a song my Mom likes, and specifically the two lines:
"I went in like a lion
And I came out like a lamb."

I'd say you should go for something associated with courage, but I guess it's open to interpretation.

It's a saying used to describe the weather in March aimed mainly at northern climates! Meaning basically at the beginning of March you maybe expecting cold even snowy weather, but by the end of March, typically it's warmer and more spring like.

Not really surprising you wouldn't have heard it before :)

Thanks. So what do we photograph?

So we don’t have to kill anything, that’s a relief.

Not very good for those of us in the Southern hemisphere then.

For those of you in milder climates I think we should expand the definition to include any days of harsh weather. You all in the south are lucky enough to get hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes. fires. We in the north and east central only get snow and and blizzards!!

I hope it's not all weather related (we still have Winter Landscape in submission stage).

I hope some folks will do as Gina suggests and go for a courage shot or some other Lion/Lamb related concept other than weather.

I'm a bit further south than that!

Winter Landscape is an archival challenge ... anybody can find something for that. In Like a Lion has the standard challenge period window. Have to shoot what you can, when you can.

Right! I get that... but... I'm just saying we already have a weather related challenge topic (even if we can get it from archives) and I'd love to see some creative responses (in addition to "weather") for this challenge topic.

I don't have any ideas about that so far... Ha! But, I'm hoping they won't all be weather-related for this challenge.

Maybe a side trip to the zoo? :-)
