as an update on my loosing my Driving licence. now have sold my Car and my daughter has gifted to me a 30 year old bicycle from the back of her garage,

This machine has seen better days and has 2 speeds ( stop and go) the gears stuck on a low speed so its easy riding. It also has a nice basket on the front, good to go
for camera and flash, or a six pack of you know what

The Drivers are very good they all pull to the side when I wobble into view and give way to me even if they dont have too, quite remarkable behavior in our town.
SO far I Have only fallen off once, right outside the courthouse, and the nice young policewoman insisted on driving me and the bike home .

My photography has slowed done and I am tending to do still life and things within walking or Biking distance.so the DOG and Dog park are figuring prominantly as well
Thanks to all here and a happy xmas to all

So that two-wheeler is half a car but twice as much fun. Won't go as far but you'll go twice as deep. Apples and oranges.
Happy Holidays!

Hey Nick! Merry Christmas! You are a hero, for sure. I was just thinking there must be a way to use the bicycle as a tripod for your camera & I know you can get an attachment for the dog's leash. Bike riding is very good for your physical & mental health. Best wishes! Please post some pix.

Yes, and maybe some riding gloves. :-)

I have a mini-tripod from REI which has a Velcro strap, which would allow it to be secured to the handlebars.

If you are not solid on a two wheeler look at getting a three wheeler. They are excellent these days
