Camera bag for 5D plus 70-200 plus 24-70

Hi there

I am seeking advice on a camera bag to carry my Canon 5D Mark IV with 70-200 attached plus have room to also carry the 24-70 lens.

I have a Toploader Pro 75 AW that I love for just the Canon 5D and 70-200 but I would also like to carry an additional lens.

Ideally something that is easy to pull the camera and lens out from - I love my Slingshot and the Toploader for this convenience.

I did buy some Amazon Basics bag a while back for this but the basics bag did not feel very well padded so I have not used it.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

I have found a solution myself. I have discovered the Lowepro Toploader Pro 75 AW is part of a modular system and I can attach Lowepro lens cases to it. Perfect solution for my needs.

I'm (more than a little) late to this party... but what you're looking at doing is similar to what I do when I want to pack lightly; I attach a padded lens case (or two) to my belt; that way I often don't carry a bag at all, just the camera/lens on strap and the supplementary lenses, and if necessary I pocket extra battery and filters.

Waddy wears a vest..like a hunting vest but puts his lens/filters/batteries in pockets...

I have one....have had it for awhile...still haven�t used it...but I often think about it when I�m on a trip and could use a few extra pockets...I just need to remember to pack it!!!

It can hold one of my longer lens...I keep this at my daughters place in Colorado...but I would really like to get one here at home...I do not like my Katie Backpack...I prefer either a sling/open jaw vs deep cavern or bottomless pit!!!

Have you thought of a tactical style slingbag or backpack with a padded camera insert? I have several of them, but smaller models for my mirrorless fleet.

I have this one, which would hold a full frame, though maybe not with all the lenses you mentioned. It gives some idea what I am referring to, though. Nice side perk of this style is the military molle webbing system gives you a lot of options to attach things and it doesn't scream "expensive camera".

I can't believe I have not though about the modular system before. I really love having a camera body and lens all ready to go and easy to pull out of the bag - hence why I love the Lowepro Slingshot bags but they are not big enough for the body plus 70-200 or 100-400 lens to fit. The Lowepro Toploader 75 AW is perfect for the camera plus either of these lenses. But sometimes I would like the option to have one additional lens to give me more options. The ability to attach a lens to the Toploader sounds a perfect solution assuming it feels securely attached and the lens case feels well padded. I have ordered a lens case so will let you know how I get on with it. I suspect the lens cases do not have their own waterproof cover like the bag has but I am not one for standing out in the rain anyway. I did think about just carrying 2 toploaders and carrying 2 camera bodies so I would have instant access to both lenses but feel that would be awkward to carry especially when cycling.

@Steve - I hear what you are saying about not screaming expensive camera but fortunately the part of the world I live in is fairly low risk on this front.

That look rather nice Kees. My only concern would be the access to the camera and lens on the back which may make me vulnerable to thieves in a crowded location

I was browsing on Amazon and came across this bag that looks like a much larger version of the style I linked to earlier. They even show it being used as a camera bag, with a tripod lashed to the bottom. Looks like it might hold what you need with appropriate padded inserts.
