This place has been my house, my ispiration, for a long time. That's why I always want to show you the new stuff I create outside DPC. This time I want to show you a time-lapse I'm working on since 2015. In the last year another DPCer, a good one, entered the project - waitingsilence - and now the video is ready. Another author of the project is Fortunato Gatto, one of the best European landscape photographers. The time-lapse shows many areas of Scotland during all the four seasons. I hope you can enjoy it and of course you are free to share it wherever you want.

This is Alba - the Epic Scotland!

Thanks everyone! I'm very happy you liked it. In the video there are weeks, months of travelling that wonderful land. Feel free to share it if you want :)

Normally I’m a big fan of your work, but this one doesn’t work for me. After a while those time-lapses are a bit boring, even with the beautiful scenery. I also think the name is a bit pretentious, the time-lapses only represent a very small part of Scotland and half the shots were taken on Skye. Sorry.

I'm sorry to hear that, especially because Skye is only a small part of the whole video. In the video there are Shetlands, Eigg, Hebrides, Glencoe, Pitlochry area, Kinloch Rannoch, Torridon, Glen Affric and of course Skye. No doubt Skye is beautiful and it brings to choose more sequences taken there than in other places. And still only 8 out of 40 sequences are shot at Skye and I think it's more than fair. Of course time-lapse videos can be boring, maybe this one is one of them, but still the effort is huge in terms of time, of being far from home and of course in terms of money.

Enchanting. As the lovely musical score opened, and the images flowed like wine-soaked poetry, I began to smile and gave in to a sense of happiness at the boundless beauty of the planet. Thank you so much.

Thanks guys for your beautiful words. You made me fly again there. I'd love to stay there, in those places. DPC has always been a second family for me.
