Be sure to read the challenge rules carefully, as they can be a bit different from other photo sites. Especially make sure you keep the original file from your camera intact in case (when!) you win a ribbon and we need to validate your entry. :-) |

Welcome aboard. When you use the blue menu bar to look under "My Home" and navigate to "My Profile," you will see that your profile has already been viewed more than 25 times, presumably out of interest in seeing your post. DPChallenge is a good way to make connections all around the world.
I suggest you take a look at the profile pages of other members. Many of the little numbers in the left column are clickable links to additional detail. Follow those links (and wander along the various menus at the top of the pages) to accelerate learning about DPC. You will notice that some people have added quite a bit of information about themselves on their profile page. If you ever want to do some of that, use the "My Preferences" (found under the "My Home" menu). Just remember to use the "save" button at the bottom for any new information to become part of your profile.

Have fun, explore techniques and subjects, and don't get fixated on the scores!
Also, check the date on your camera because most DQs are because they were inadvertently shot "out of challenge dates".
Also also, watch out for that Grog guy ;) |
