Not having anything due for 6 days now isn't the best idea when we're trying to keep people around.

Let's have a speed challenge!

We're up for that. Let's have some suggestions. If anyone wants to discuss and suggest topics for a weekend speed challenge here, do so. We can't guarantee we'll follow the "instructions" but there's a reasonable chance we will.

I agree. I did not realize that all the challenges where now 2 weeks. Came back and thought, Oh wow, that is a lot of challenge a week, too much. Then found out this week it was every two weeks an thought on no, not enough! LOL, juts can not please anyone all the time!!!

Maybe do a 1 week challenge among all the 2 week challenges?

As for suggestions"

Sunday Night Dinner (just to be weird and all)

Lazy

Weekend Date Night (should contain your significant other, dog, cat, tv, bottle of wine, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc)(just to cover all bases)

1 shot of what you did at 5am or 11.11 am. 4.20pm, 7.17pm

Shoot thru the Gap
To get through the gap in regularly scheduled challenges, shoot something through a gap.

I really don't have much planned for this weekend. In the spirit of the challenge, I suppose that could be a good thing or a bad thing! We'll see,

The more I look at my entry the more I wonder what the heck I was thinking I think I edited in my sleep. Lololl

You not the only one!
I was doing with the speed to meet the speed challenge and end up speeding down with my numbers :D

I feel better. My craptastic shot is in the 5.9 range and was over a 6 for a while.

I did enjoy the weekend, though. I'd rate it 7 (the weekend, not the shot, although I thought the shot would do better than 4.6).

slaying the dragon at 6.5.

Pleasantly pleased with both my weekend and the score.

Thank goodness the early voting pattern didn't continue.

How about an archival speed challenge? What would happen IF we have one such where you have to go in archive and find a photograph and share.

This was good that you go out and take a shot and come back.

I think this would be a good idea. But as a Free Study. We all take so many pictures and get to use so few of them for challenges.

I think a FS would also be a way to slightly increase the number of people to enter and join and newcomers would not be overwhelmed straight away. We all have smashing shots through the year.

But in saying that, when does it stop.

160 Pixels II. That was fun!

Standard Editing

Description:

Some photos lend themselves to a high aspect ratio crop. Show us something that does.

Extra Rules (Flagged)

One dimension of your photo, with height or width, must be exactly 160 pixels, otherwise it will be disqualified. Note, this is not a panoramic challenge.

Speed Challenge: One week to take and submit your photo instead of having two weeks to get it done.

+1 to Janines suggestion (160 Pixels II).

-1 to 'archival speed challenge' ... sorry, but we don't need more unlimited scope challenges. IMO of course.

You get extra points for a consistent viewpoint. :)
