Maybe???

A story to read, But

I have an outtake, that in my, over infatuated, inflated mind, thinks, it needs it own tale.

You can correct me, or ignore me, but this is a story!!!!!!

Now this could be because I shot it, and I took many photos of this building, and in the end could not edit it too look like how I envisioned it (probably over saturated etc lol)

I was fascinated by this structure in the middle of nowhere, with some burnt out roofs, the land looked like flowing grasses and they really did waft in the breeze, You only usually hear of wafting in romance books, but this wafted like a green oasis of undulating sands, but grass.

This structure, was against some mountains and several clouds (I would add contrast and make them dramatic, cus I am a drama Queen) But they where there, this structure was there. On the opposite side of the road, (you had to wiggle by all the BP vehicles) was among some very run down trailer homes on Bible Way, Redemption Ave, with outstanding glorious homes splattered in between these trailer, they where named on Hell's Way Road, Glutton Ave. But they consisted of 1 or 2 houses until we came back to Angles Passing with the rancid dogs ,tied up in rusty chains and ferociously tugging to get free or fight each other. It was a world that I believe no one of us could imagine at that point.

The front gate was closed with padlocks and sturdy chain, rusted with glorious brown and gold, from years of being in use. I took photos of just the padlocks, with the outbuilding not in focus. I kept telling my 2 boys, look at this, what is this, why is this in the middle of nowhere, it looks like a Mosque structure with it's dome, it is gorgeous. So then took about 100 more photos. Then someone mentioned beef burgers and I totally lost concentration.

Then as I was teaching my son how to drive, they spotted the Mexican Border Metal Wall and got all excited and started talking about 'him', as their "Father" had been talking to them , so then it was all out war in my SUV as I educated them on how life really was and life was hard and they where privileged spoilt brats, who did not understand, how someone would risk everything,,, okay so we went to eat Burgers....

Then we ate burgers, eventually got home 5 hours later and a lot of country music. Looked through my photos, got what I wanted and edited it. It did well.

But I tried to edit this building, so many times. I couldn't get it right at all. Tossed it aside for my other photo (whicih I love 3/4)

Then I looked up this building in the middle of nowhere. Not a lot of history,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, then you dig deeper, really deep. (mostly cus I am nosy bitch, and things did not add up)

HOLY CRAP ON A STICK~~~~~~~~~~~( This is the real Story before my Waffling)

Religion,, Mass Murder, Child Murder, Child Abductions, Kidnapping, Police Brutality, Police Murders, Riots, Cults , Religion, Extortion, Highway Robbery, Racial Murders on both white and black. Mass Police Shoot Out, Starvation, Slavery, Executions, Police Cover Ups. And this is all hidden in various forms, until you dig for it.

So this building, has history. But you have to dig to find it.

So I shot it, thinking how odd is it to have this rather splendid building in the middle of nowhere, and look what the actual story is.

I know this is long winded and probably makes no sense.

But what a friggin story, and isn't that what we to convey in our photography.

Beautiful and lonely building. I think it was calling to you knowing you have an inquiring mind and would dig past the surface to discover all the stories it wants to tell.

Thanks for sharing it, a very interesting story indeed.

I went off on a tangent and forgot to write the story and then went to bed. Will write it today!
