Wanted to post my other option for this challenge, but forgot to do it! So here it is

In answer to Lydia, yes this is a marvelous, timeless image that goes far beyond a lovely NG landscape.

This was a team choice. Because I'd gone against the team recommendation on another challenge and got hammered. This is the one I wanted to enter, but decided to listen to the team.

I have no idea if it would have been as well received by the "masses".

EEEKKK, I dunno which one I like better!!!! Your entry was hot, like the rocks are hot, it looks hot, it looks Med hot, like mid day white bright hurt your eyes, but Turkish, Greece hot, so it works. Not sure that makes sense. Then the other shot, you know how I feel about that, but think people would have dinged you for the gutless wonder in the shot.

These were the two I considered, both of them I liked.

I prefer this one out of those two but think your entry was the best of the three

The other one I find the wooden platform in the foreground rather ugly and messy. You made the right choice in my opinion

Yeah, the right one was definitely entered. For all three shots, they were taken during the Hurricane Lane, that really made for fast moving clouds...hah.
