How do I find the first layered landscape challenge? I can't remember how to go about it. Thanks!

Here's something on it. When I first read it a month or so ago when it was suggested , I was like "what?" Then looked up the old challenges and was like, Oh just put it on Infinity and bam, all in focus.

But

Then read this, and it looks good. (I am somewhat sure that this tutorial is legal.)((maybe))

Stacking

the first LL was advanced editing. this one is standard editing, which does now allow greater attitude latitude than formerly.

Oh, so does that mean we are all stuck on infinity and not allowed to stack as per tutorial.

Hold on, working through my brain cells,,,,urrrggggmmmm,

Okay, we are allowed to stack or HDR in Standard, so if we stack, and it is all the same landscape shot, in the same time period, then in theory, if we add a layer in-between and paint out the non focused stack and leaving the layers of focus, it is or will be all in focus and in legal rules,.

YAY me. <~~insert balloons flying and champagne corks flying) (or a Like Button) hahahah =\

Or that is totally illegal and I am full of complete crap, (which is more than likely)

Ummm ... I'm pretty sure this is specifically mentioned in the challenge rules.

Bold, underline added for emphasis.

You must...
create your entry from 1 or more captures of a single scene (defined as a scene whose overall composition/framing does not change). All captures used must be shot within the challenge submission dates and as part of a single series in relatively short time frame (e.g NOT time-lapse photography) This rule is intended to allow HDR imaging, focus-stacking, "crowd removal" composites, "light painting", astro-photography, and panoramic or other techniques that use multiple, nearly simultaneous, images of a scene stitched together into a single image.

I am not sure I like to look at the old challenge results for a current topic because I prefer a novel approach - but I did look now seeing this on the forum (phew 2013), and found my first and second and third highest marks. Blur , a less boring sunset and no blur
