I have a friend that lives in Scotland She just bought a new house and I’d really like to gift her a photo. Who do you use for international printing? Any problems?

Loxely Colour

They are based in Scotland and are one of the UK Printers for Smugmug. I've had excellent service from them over the years.

Here in the states our print houses often run specials/coupons/discounts...even appear on Groupon...do any of these print houses do the same??

I don't think the pro labs like Loxley or Peak Imaging do. Photobox is more aimed at the consumer, but does a good job, and they very occasionally do. If you register with Photobox, a couple of weeks later they will send you an offer code. I have been pretty pleased with work I have had done by them, mainly calendars and canvases.

Sorry, I have to disagree on Photobox doing a good job - whilst I am happy for them to print my xmas cards, I have been really disappointed with their prints and photobooks - their offers do keep me coming back hoping things will improve.
