I thought was nice to share here the interview with our andrewt

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing. It makes me realise again that lot of you guys are professional photographers and being part of this community has taught me so much.

I noticed he was shooting with Nikon gear, I always thought that for the Olympics Canon was the brand to use. A guy who runs a photographic page on Facebook sold all his Nikon gear last month and changed to Canon because -as he claimed- that’s the professional standard (although I think both brands are equal in quality)

Deb & I had the pleasure of catching up with Andrew a couple of years ago when we passed through Singapore and found him to be a generous host and wonderful guy. We did more eating & sightseeing than photography but I guess he must be good at that too;)

It was true prior to 2008 , Canon was KING In the sports photography world !! Since then , about a 50/50 share. Latest is the Sony A9 mirrorless trying to win over some of the market share.
