If I remember right I just emailed my photo (original) directly to site counsel...

ETA: I think I had to "reset" my picture back to original first...

My most recent iPhone 7+ image in a DPC challenge that was subject to validation, was emailed (full size) from my iPhone 7+ to my primary computer. I never opened, nor saved, the file. Just used the unaltered file as the proof file. The file did pass validation requirements.

So, this works with iPhones, but I don't know if can work with Windows phones.

Yes, as far as we know emailing the original to yourself is safe, always assuming you then make a COPY to work on :-) I'm about to get a *real* smartphone for the first time, a Samsung, and as far as I can tell from reading the user's manual online I can connect this phone to my computer and mount it as a drive, PLUS it seems to be able to shoot RAW, so... Fingers crossed. I didn't exactly get it for photography, but rather so we can pair it with the new car's system and do stuff we could never do before :-)

Yes I imported via a USB cable connected to my computer, also emailed to myself and downloaded to desktop (also just dragged from email attachment to desktop, maybe I should have dragged it directly to DPC proof) none of them worked. I dont have an SD card in my phone so card reader not an option. Not to worry what is done is done. No more phone entries for me. :)

I do not believe a word of it, as it isn't from twitter.

Although, it does seem like the Russki's have taken over the site, if you look at some covfefe entries..

No more phone entries for me. :)

Never say never...
