The former Blue Ribbon in the "Graffiti II" challenge has been disqualified because the photographer forgot that cropping is not allowed in Minimal Editing :-( Congrats to our new ribboner and HM.

That's always sad. *sigh*

I wish I'd entered this challenge.

I thought that "graffiti" is an unlawful painting of words/drawings, etc on a building without permission. I thought that wall art, payment given to the artist, was well... "wall art"... not graffiti.

Interesting...

Maybe next time we can call it "Painting on buildings"... or something similar.

That was my take also. The voters don't agree :-)

Voters are shallow and inattentive.

I gave it a 10 because it just WOW'd me and I forgot what the challenge was.

The entries were Street Art, mostly And some totally someone else's artwork I hesitated to point that out. But it's different from real graffiti, IMO, which is unexpected art, posted in illegitimate spaces.
