If you buy from Amazon... and like to support the USA's military Veterans...

Always go to Amazon (each time) through: Smile.Amazon.com

Soldiers' Angels (a non-profit organization)

You can still get everything you've gotten before... AmazonPrime, etc... They just give a bit to the veterans.

And... it shows you the amount you've contributed personally to them with your purchases.

It's something that doesn't cost me anything... and helps others.

[If you don't want to support the US Veterans, please don't tell us why. Let's keep this positive. Thanks!]

Bump ... I have no problem supporting vets, not as sure about supporting Amazon. ;-)

But I think every business should be supporting some worthy cause (and many do).

My son Isaac is a future veteran ...

"AmazonSmile supports nearly one million non-profit organizations. This means your favorite charity is bound to be on the list. You can select your favorite charity when you go to AmazonSmile and they will get a donation every time you make a purchase. You can also change the charity before you check out if you want to spread the love around."

I am sure a lot of us work with or support deserving amazon smile charities.

I'm a big veteran's supporter. You can send your donations directly to me if you wish.

:-)

Just kidding!

But yes, you need to pick a charity - my Amazon Smile goes somewhere else. I probably ought to see where....

Amazon Smile seems like a no-brainer to me. If your favorite charity isn't on the Amazon list, you may be able to put it there. I've been donating my bit to the Fisher House Foundation. They provide housing and services for military families visiting VA and military medical centers. My son and daughter-in-law support the PTA at their children's school. I don't buy a whole lot on Amazon, but if Amazon is willing to give even a small percentage of my purchase to a good cause, it's fine with me.
