Christmas 2011 in 3D

To get the 3D view you have to use the cross-eye-method:
Ppeer relaxed at the middle between the two pictures until a third picture in 3D is forming up.
It might take some practice though. And don't worry - it doesn't harm your eyes

Here is some extra information about this Free Vision Fusion

No tree yet this year. This is from 2009 in Indiana, the coldest Christmas we have ever experienced. We Florida birds are not used to that kind of cold and snow, lol!

Old challenge entry, almost the same place as yesterday.

Taken last weekend at Chateau Montebello in Quebec. MY husband's company flew us up for the weekend to attend the company Christmas party. The chateau is a Fairmont hotel/resort. It is the largest log cabin in the world. There is a huge tree down in the lobby, I'll post a picture of that one too. This was on the second level with about a dozen more trees that were decorated by various businesses, I'm assuming for charity.

An old challenge entry from 2007. Zooming in on the large tree decorated downtown (which the city doesn't put up anymore - boo!).

From last year atThe Met (I am yet to make our own this year):

From Christmas Eve 2008. The last time (and the first time in a long time) my 3 sisters, their families and I spent Christmas together. We just live so far away from each other and no one wants to travel during the holidays.

This is my sister's tree, it's artificial but to me it looks real. I think there were about 12 of us at her house that year.

I went today to the Met and I got mesmerized by the tree, again and again. They play music also and the medieval room glistens magically.
Yes, the figurines are Neapolitan, 18th century creche.
Henk-Jan, the background, or the foreground as you can see in the first picture, is a permanent display of a Spanish 18 century also choir screen. A marvel.
Sorry for posting so many, I got carried away.
Now back to decorate my little tree

Another tree from Chateau Montebello. This one is in the newer area of the hotel, where we had our Christmas dinner.

Last night we had 15cm of snow. Tonight I went to the Botanical Garden holiday light festival - the first year they have done this. I really enjoyed it and I hope they do it again next year.

Yesterday I picked up a friend at the airport - I found soooo many Christmas trees on my way there so I'm going to share my findings here

This is at the airport - there is a Christmas market going on right in the middle between two terminals. I thought the picture with the reflection might be interesting too

Christmas 2006

Nothing special, but it's nice to see the minor changes of the tree and my living room.
