Looks like clouds will be problematic for me for a while, however I will be in Hawaii for the last 10 days of that timeframe, so I would hope I'd have some clear skies there :-)
Remember that getting up early to see this does't happen by accident... you have to planet ;-)

Which island(s)? If you're in Maui I'd recommend going to Haleakala crater for the show. (get there WELL before sunrise because once the parking lot is full they close the gate)

We will be on Maui, and we do plan on making a trip to Haleakala :-)
