Thank you! I'm wondering if the fact that the art challenge came up within the week and with only a week's notice that people got sidetracked?

Done!

Working on it, working on it. And it's a pleasure.

But I must say I was doing better before everyone started to vote LOL

I feel the same way about commenting. To each his own...

*sigh*

Some comments too peeps would be nice. If you look at the average comment given at the moment it's just over two each, if everyone just commented on their top three photos, now that's not too difficult then that would be more comments, thank you.

did both - vote and comment (not too many, but I hope to raise the numbers of comments today). And I enjoyed it! Go ahead everybody

I would encourage a few more comments on the photos in the lower tier, they are the ones who need the help so they can make improvements, and progress into the top level.

I'm away and get this message: (Voting on mobile devices is currently not allowed.)
smart phones are big enough nowadays.

I agree. That's a little ridiculous.

I'm unable to vote or comment on my tablet (mobile device), which only leaves evenings,
which are a little crowded sometimes

I get that message on my phone, but am able to vote from iPad mini. Many do have phones that are almost as large.

I think, when voting, it's only important that one is viewing the entries similarly to each other so I'm thinking smart phones should be allowed.

Ok I didn't know that the difference made such a difference.

I beg to differ. On a smartphone the ubiquitous over sharpening, over saturation and halos is not that visible. Why do we have the capability to post larger images? Only to see them on a smart phone? When I vote on the iPad I almost go back and do one more viewing (and bumping) on the big screen.

I disagree completely. I've had entries that looked completely and totally different on my phone vs my screen. Many wildlife photos the depend upon the details really get lost on a tiny screen.

Would you really want to go to an art gallery and view things that are 2" x 3"?

Maybe.. I do the same, ultimately viewing on the big screen. And I guess there is no way to control which smartphones or which voters... so the question becomes would we prefer someone with a small smartphone screen, looking at all the images similarly on their small smartphone screen to grant us a vote... or would we prefer not to have that vote at all?
Also, we would have to trust that, if granted, those who CAN do otherwise would still prefer to vote from their larger screens.. that might be a problem.
