Once again, the current queue is clear and four top-notch DPCers are doing the critiquing.

So if you want your images critiqued by the best, tick that box. It's likely that you will get a response.

These are the four who have been critiquing recently:

sidpixel
snaffles
Lydia
Ecce_Signum

Wouldn't you like to get some advice from one of these photographers?

It lives, again!

All kidding aside, great to hear!

Yes the CC is most definitely alive and kicking. FWIW both Sidpixel and I, the great and mighty ;-) snaffles, have been digging into the archives - not only because Sid the Kid is in the top ten and trying to catch me (harhar) but I am chasing down jmsetzler's 4th place spot.

So...I am now critiquing images going back to late September 2014...so if you or a fellow DPCer requested a critique between now and last September, you may want to check your Comments Received on your homepage and see if one of of, or even the elusive Lydia, has written you a critique recently!

Ha! Elusive Lydia has been out of the country a bit and now that I'm back, you've cleared the new ones so quickly there's nothing there when I check after each challenge ends!
You're a quick one, Susan!

Actually I think it's Sid clearing the queue of new critiques, as any possible ones are usually gone by the time I check in the morning. But I try to nab fresh ones too :-)

I'm not fond of doing the old ones... from 2014. Some of the folks aren't even here anymore... they're certainly not sitting there wondering, "WHERE's my CRITIQUE?!!"

Ha!

OK, you've convinced me to start checking the box more than twice a year ... give you something you'll have to work at. :-)

True...some have packed up and left...but people like clickodak, aka Marcel, always requests and appreciates critiques, even belated ones, and he listens to advice. That's the kind of person I really enjoy writing a critique for, anytime!

I ticked the box when uploading my last entry and now I'm already curious which one of you will give me a critique. Really looking forward to it! Thank you CC-members!

I clicked the box also... for the first time EVER... can't wait to find out what's causing my score.

Yay for CC! :D

You're doing great, Lydia, when you're not hoovering up ribbons! Keep at it! And don't be afraid to delve into the archives which is part of my sekkrit; I believe Sid does this too. Lots of critique-requesters are repeat offenders err, request critiques a lot, and they're still around. Some are one-offs from people who joined, entered a challenge or two and vanished from the radar; still, writing a critique on their image never hurts. Others are from people whom I think can be reeled back into the fold, so I do try to be more encouraging with them to see if they can get back into entering.

Oh, oh. Snaffles has tromped her way thru the 400s and is now at 502.
My crown, my lovely laurels, they are all at risk!
Eeeeep!

Well, you were warned...and if it's any consolation I'm going to be really busy with work for the next three weeks so probably won't be hammering out as many critiques as I got done this last week and a half. So make the most of it while you can! Muwhahahahaaaa....;-)

ETA: Oops I did it again...

ETA #2: Just got yet another thanks from someone whose image was rotting away in the archives. Yet another reason to jump in, neat to see what people were submitting even just 18 months ago and are submitting now.
