As I am stuck indoors and a bit fed up I am hoping to try to make bubbles for photography and only have my Canon ESQ 700D can I do this on Macro mode I do not own a tripod
what solution mix keeps the bubbles nice and round I have tried oil and water and Glycerin and washing up liquid
I would appreciate some feed back Thanks in advance /Sally

the solution doesn't keep bubbles round, physics does.

Sally, will wait and watch for replies as well.

My bubbles are normally made with just washing up liquid using a straw. I drop drops into them so they don't stay bubbles for long.

"Dawn" brand detergent is the go-to for most bubble recipes I've seen.

Making the bubbles smaller than maximum size should leave the wall thicker and more robust.

To keep bubbles from popping immediately make sure the "landing spot" is already wet with water or (preferably) more bubble-blow solution.

You might want to look for a copy of this book.

oh it was a chemistry question :)

try adding a sugar polymer-

3 parts water
1 part liquid dishwashing detergent
1/2 part white corn syrup

I'd like to ask this Bubble Lady what she uses.

The commercial bubble solutions work pretty well. Cheaper and faster than experimenting...

I brought bubbles at a dollar store and it stayed long enough to capture this, it was long lasting bubbles in a tube

But a lot I make myself but I use a different recipe amount but I added some , but same as what Mike uses..

These make huge long lasting bubbles and they are really fun to play with, I now make them with my friends kids and my nephews/neices

6 cups water
1/2 cup blue Dawn dish detergent (must be blue dawn)
1/2 cup corn starch
1 tbsp baking powde
1 tbsp Glycerine
