Ok I know this will ahve been asked a million times before but I really would like to make my Pbase site show up as a signature on my forum comments. I have read the help thingie on forum code and how to type the code out onto my signature in my preferences but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone please tell me what I need to type "exactly" into my signature box in my preferences to link to the following site:
//www.pbase.com/lucasarah
PS I've obviuosly worked out how copying and pasting the link works but to ahve it appear automatically would be great.
PPS Any comments here in the forums or on the website itself are greatfully appreciated - "by Sarah" galleries are mine and "by Luca" galleries are my boyfriend's pics!! |

To find out what to put in your preferences quote your own message as you are going to reply. The text that creates the link will show up. Copy that text and past it in your preferences. Cancel, unless of course you want to post a reply to your own post.
In preferences select the ticky box (yes that's a technical term) that says to show signatures in forums and when you post in the forums remember to select the two ticky boxes so your signature shows and any urls show up as links.

Ok I did a "quote" of my own post as if I would reply. I copied and pasted the code for the link into my preferences and saved it. However i can't see a ticky box (love the technical language by the way :) ) that says to show signatures. There is one to hide other users signatures but that's all. Anyway I tried then to post a reply to you ticking the 2 ticky boxes under my reply and it didn't work. I'm sure I'm being completely dumb here.Is there something I'm missing?

Doh!!!! It's there - hurrah!!! It just doen't show up in the preview of the reply. Thanks for your help!
