Just spent a nice and eventfull weekend in Paris. Got a few nice ones back.

Those shots are grand, congratulations. Seems to me you enjoyed the weekend. These pictures show such maturity using the basic elements such as lighting, form, texture. I really like the shots when you step into Cartier-Bressons shoes and take your own "dancing" steps.
I will be going to Prague in a few days, maybe I can catch something half as good as those shots.

I opened up the large ones thinking to single out a few to comment on but quickly realised how much I like all of them. Paris is a long time friend and it's wonderful to see some fresh new shots of Paris that don't rely on all the cliches.

I particularly like all 4 in the top row and have marked the fourth as a Favourite.

I also like the colour one of people sitting on the riverside bench.

Each one has something about it that really hits me and each is unique, intriguing and well presented.

Thank you so much for sharing. I was feeling blue and you balanced that just nicely just as I'm about to retire to bed.

I like this very much also. How did you achieve this effect? Did you meter for a specific spot, or underexpose, or post-process? Curious to learn!

Thanks for sharing ! My fav is "A good book" , it's more similar to my memories of Paris.I hope to "return home" soon , not a definitive return just some weeks to have walks and talks with old friends...
Paris is a fascinating city , I lived there until 1991 ... ...Sorry too many memories.
Excellent photos , a different and delicate point of view !

isn't it too dark for a sunday morning??? it looks like you have a multiple post lamp light source above you... but I like it.

This one is underexposed, though I don't like the term. I almost always use spot metering; I chose in this one to have the sun lit part of the street to be correctly exposed.

Thanks for all the kind comments

Wonderful series,
You seem to have the knack of capturing the type of images I haven't really tried yet, but aspire to do so.
My first favourite photographer to date,
Thanks for posting,
Paul.
