This side challenge could be over before it starts...

But rules stays. My first iPhone photos were processed in iPhone, and it was a tiny iPhone 4!

Just to refresh the rules, idea here is not to spend tons of time editing, rather "point, shoot, edit, upload" convenience and use of phone apps. There are tons of apps, free ones, to edit like a pro... or me ;)

Anywho... I hope to see some photos at least, before we close the shop here I guess :-/

I'm in, although having a Nokia Lumia these days which limits the photo editing options as there are not so many apps.

One of my favorite photos of my wife and one of our dogs... A simple editing, basically to give grainy look, the photo was alrady taken blurry on purpose...

I have seen many nice phone camera photos here, but apparently playing-field wasn't "even" with my work :-/

Calling all cellphone cameras for fireworks shots tonight... a "mini 24 hours SC" in a SC :)

Perhaps if you post links to some free pp'g software for phones, you might get more interest...

I thought they are in app stores for iPhones and android's google store... Hundreds of them available...

Or, just use the available camera app comes with the phone, there has to be a basic editing options at least!

I don't think apps are the excuse. It's not easy to work with small screen and get a good result... That's the only reason I bought a 6 plus :-/ but before that, I did use 4 and 5s

No pressure, if you can't, you can't... Let's see if any ;)

A prefer to edit my phonetography on my computer. I just can't tell what it really looks like on a phone screen. Maybe I just need to get one of those i-things if I wish to take my phonetography serioulsy...

You know what... I feel "more" Master of iPhone Photograohy right now than ever :))) because everything I do, I do them in phone.

You see... I conceder my iPhone as a mini computer with "Phone Option" installed. I mean all laptops now has speaker and microphone, most desktops also have speakers and microphone installed... but they don't have "phone" app(!) while everything (plus) what's in a computer are in my phone already :)

Thanks Leo!

Mark, I just got the Photoshop app. It promises some free stuff if I sign in with my Adobe ID.

I recommend the 360 app for 360 pano shots. Imagine me standing in the middle of the intersection, twirling slowly around, listening for traffic, the dog leash winding up around my legs. Suburbia mostly looks deserted & very odd in a photo.

Ok... These are my secret weapons. All probably costed me around $10-$15 but worth every penny since one program for a regular deltop comouter could cost around hundreds if dollars!

Cameras

General editors

Some layer apps

Other editing apps

Detailed editing apps

Presentation apps

Some of my online gallery apps

I had other websites such as instagram, but I found out to be iseless waste of time there!

Most of them are free with some options of following them at Facebook or Instagram to unlock some of their features... I do use them all, and if I don't, they are deleted or replaced.

Peoria Sports Complex is a mile away from where we live and from our scond floor room, fireworks look like in our backyard...
San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners teams training in that baseball field every year.

Some shots from today. Only manual camera app can be used for this kind of shooting... at least with my iPhone

Just to let you know. As far as my apps go, PicSArt and PhotoShop Express the only ones have "Noise Reduction" options. Camera 360 has stuff like face enhancement including reshaping skull. Other apps also have very useful options to get really really nice results without a desktop computer. Layers, dodge and burn, spot repairs, cloning, color corrections, perspective corections, edge eraser, green room... Tons more stuff.

...again, most are free, some offers unlocking with Facebook likes or instagram follows... And most are about $0.99, probably highest I paid was $4.99!

Why wait to get home, upload, edit, then share when you can just edit and share on the spot :)))
(I just sounded like a commercial just now)

*BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE*

The reason rules stays the same here to make my play-field even. It seems like most those who dare to talk about my work, just can't make it in my field at all... So, what would it be?

Can't find an app? That's a pretty lame excuse if you ask me, since there are hundreds of free apps availabe... Screen too small? Then this SC is not for you but is everyone in this audience can't process images in a 3-4 inch screen?

It is bit of sad to see how people can be very judgmental for my work but when it comes to practice, they just scared to death someone will say negative stuff about their work!

BRING IT ON!

I always thought you have very personal points of view Leo!

Edit for a smiley :)

While I strongly believe that a phone camera can not replace a dslr or a more advances enthusiast compact I do always believe that the best camera is the one you have it with you.

I am not a big fan of editing on the screen of the phone cause I can't see much and I tend to check on a computer screen the output and almost all the time I think better results can be achieved in LR or / and PS or what ever.

That being a fair amount of my entries with the phone are also edited on the phone. My favourite is Snapsee.

I gave up on iProducts... but all are pretty much the same

Sony Z1 Compact

Sony Z3

Edit: some of my iPhone 4S entries
