Just sent my last one... Enjoy everybody. Now I'm off to bed :)

Looks like longlivenyhc has some so if anyone else wants one you may want to ask him nicely.

Gmail is great if you like sending photos through email and want to cut down on the spam.

You can send up to a 10mb file and it gives you a 1gb file storage limit!

My son got me using it and I like it very much.

Google also has been good at keeping the spam way down, I have not received any spam since I signed up. As far as ads go they are not that noticable Google keeps them under control also.

thats not very usefull if the person you are sending to can not receive a file that big. only a 1 gig limit, with my email I dont have a limit. Plus I have processing rules set up to block spam as well, since I started using the processing rules I have stopped 98% of the spam & virus emails from even reaching my email.

seems i would like one very much now then :) i use hotmail and it has a cap on the size of files you can send which generally means most my photos cant be sent through that... would really enjoy having the freedom of such a large storage space and the ability to send the emails that i want :) :D though i really have no idea how to get one now

you dont have to say anything nice about mine for one!!! I have three left. But in all seriousness, a comment would be nice.

I'd like to remind people that you need to send an e-mail address to get an invite. I've sent out a bunch more now though.

I read on another board a caveat about the ToS. They'll store all your messages eternally, even if you "delete" them. This means that they'll still be able to use them for data mining. Their software will scan the messages for your interests then posts ads according to the profile they set up about you.

There are no ads. At least not that i've seen yet.

there are, they are off to the side and gmail advertises before you create an account that there are adds.... they are small and rather unseeable... just one problem (well potentially a problem if your rather paranoid) the adds run on a basis where they display whats most relavent to you...but how that works is it goes through ur emails and randomly selects words places them in a search and places the add on the side now its not like anyone reads ur mail and picks out words... its all done by computer and all very random... however it does open up some loop holes and for those who are very paranoid with that then thats just a tip so u realise what its all about ;) hope this helped....
