Hello dpchallenge.
i'm working on poster about Natural Resources for a client. i need to show Energy in contrast with Lack of it (Preferably in the form of gas). i've been thinking of it, an idea could be a gas station without gas and lots of cars, but i don't have a photo and can't take it eighter. so ... any other ideas?
thank you in advance!

Hi Sainaz,

A much simpler shot to set up would be to show a single car running out of gas, perhaps in contrast with a car that isn't out of gas. If it can be natural gas, you could show one extremely cold person huddled around a small gan of Sterno, compared to another person sitting comfortably next to a roaring heater. Just a thought. Good luck with the poster!

that's an idea, but beside cold and heat, what else for lack of energy in the form of gas!

I sent you a PM. A thought was a gas stove burner, one with a flame and one without.

A full baloon & an empty one.
A warm shower & a cold one. (Water is naturally gas warmed)
When you say "Gas" Do you mean American "Gas" as in "Petrol" or gas as in err gas

Self-lighting light bulbs can be bought inexpensively at many magic shops.

thanks everyone, i'm still thinking of a gas station, but light bulbs gonna be my second shot (electricity)!
i rather not work on water heaters, we need a more general form of energy like : transportation, heat (in general), light ...
and the selected one should have a picture in contrast.

any ideas are wellcome!

What about someone walking away from a car with a gas can, suggesting they ran out of gas while driving? I'm picturing a close-up on the gas can with the car blurred-out, but still very recognizable in the background...
