I've been contracted to shoot for a makeup artist this Sunday, she plans to use the images for her website. She set up the whole deal, 3 models, she is doing makeup, rented a hotel room, etc. basically it's her production.

I'm being paid for my time, her and I have worked out our agreement and have a contract but there is the case of the models, who are not being paid and will all be working under a TF agreement.

I'm not sure how to handle them, in the past when I have done TF, I've been running the show, but for all intents and purposes, she is running the show. Should they sign a TF for me for me or for her? both?

I'm thinking they should sign my TF agreement since I will be maintaining ownership of the copyrights.

Anyone ever work under this kind of mixed agreement? I'm probably making too much out of this, but I'd hate to see the MUA put out all this money and not be able to use some images because of a bad agreement.

My advice is to bring them just in case.

they need to sign your paperwork in order for you to use the images in any shape, form, or fashion. not a big deal.

The contract between you and the MUA should be one where you license the images to her for her use.

The contract(s) between you and each of the models should explain both the licensing terms for their use of the images AND the model release which authorizes your commercial use of their likeness. The model release would also cover your licensing of the images to the MUA
